Join the Little Nell on December 8th for their Annual Tree Lighting Celebration. The WIne bar and Courtyard will be transformed to a magical winter wonderland. From 5:00 - 7:00 PM, come join the celebration with complimentary freshly baked cookies, rich hot cocoa and warm apple cider crafter by the pasty chefs while the Aspen High School choir fills the air with beloved carols. Create lasting memories with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and embrace the spirit of the season alongside friends and neighbours. Festive beverages will be availalbe for purchase at The Wine Bar.

Aspen are remarkable and unique trees. In fact they are so different that it may be better not to think of aspens as trees. First of all, a stand of aspen is really only one huge organism where the main life force is underground. Think of aspens as large 1-20 acre systems of roots that remain hidden underground until there's enough sunlight. (source: http://www.nps.gov/)
